I need help with 16a and 17. i haven't been able to understand this in class and no one was able to help me
kompoz [17]
16a. 21cm. bc when it has 10 grams it moves half of that to 5cm so divide 42 by 2 and you get 21cm

17. remember y=mx+b; m is slope and b is y-intercept
you have to put your equation from point slope to y=mx+b
4x+y=6
subtract 4x from each side
y=-4x+6
slope = -4
y-intercept= 6

hope this helped :)

Which characteristics describe the scatterplot? check all that apply.
FrozenT [24]

The characteristics described in the scatterplot are B. positive correlation D. weak association E. linear.

What are the condition for Correlation?

1. Negative Correlation:

The correlation is achieved when either or both values of x and y on the graph decrease.

2. Positive Correlation

The correlation is achieved when the slope (value) of both x and y increases.

3. Strong Correlation

This is achieved when there's uniformity in slopes x and y.

4. Weak Correlation

This is achieved when there are no uniforms in slopes x and y

5. Linear

Linearity is achieved when the data pattern is linear (straight)

6. Nonlinear

Non-Linearity refers to whether a data pattern is curved.

We can see that the characteristics described in the scatterplot are B. positive correlation D. weak association E. linear.

Please help me with this question URGENT PLEASE ANSWER THIS MATH QUESTION
lesya [120]

Answer:

(4,0)

Step-by-step explanation:

The object is first at (0,0)

It is reflected across line x=-2, this means you draw the mirror line at x=-2 and count 2 equal units backwards to get the image.The image will be at ;y=0\\\\x=-2-2=-4\\\\\\=(-4,0)

The image (-4,0) is then reflected on the y-axis

You know reflection on the y-axis, the y-coordinate remains the same but the x-coordinate is changed to its opposite sign.

Hence;

(- -4,0)= (4,0)

The image will move 8 units towards positive x-axis.This is the same as moving 4 units from the mirror line at (0,0) and land at (4,0)
