Answer:

The number of visit so that both plan cost same is 10 .

Both the plan has equivalent choice of benefit

Step-by-step explanation:

Given as :

A gym has two membership plans.

For Gold plan

The charge per month = $50

The charge per visit = $3

For Platinum plan

The charge per month = $20

The charge per visit = $6

Let The number of visit for which each plan be same = n visits

Now, According to question

<u>∵ Each plan cost to be same</u>

So,

The charge per month for gold plan+ The charge per visit × numbers of visit = The charge per month for platinum plan+ The charge per visit × numbers of visit

I.e $50 + $3 × n = $20 + $6 × n

Or, $50 - $20 =  $6 × n  -  $3 × n

Or, $30 = ($6 - $3) × n

Or, $30 = $3 × n

∴ n = \dfrac{30}{3}

I.e n = 10

So, The number of visits = n = 10

Now, For Gold plan

The charge per month = $50

The charge per visit = $3 × 10 = $30

So, Total charge for gold plan = $50 + $30 = $80

Similarly For Platinum plan

The charge per month = $20

The charge per visit = $6×10 = $60

So, For Platinum plan ,total charge = $20 + $60 = $80

Hence, The number of visit so that both plan cost same is 10

and both the plan has equivalent benefit. Answer

Answer:

10a. No

10b. No

10c. Yes

10d. Yes

Step-by-step explanation:

10a. This equation does not because 3/4 x 8 = 6 and not 9.

10b. This equation doesn’t because 3x8 does not equal 28.

10c. This equation does because 5 x 8 = 40 which means y = 8.

10d. This equation does because 8/2 = 4. Fractions are just division problems and 8 divided by 2 equals 4, meaning y = 8 was n this equation.

Draw a Hasse diagram of the partial order &lt;&lt; of the set {2,3,4,6,8,9,10,12} where a &lt;&lt; b iff b is divisible by a.
Ray Of Light [21]

Step-by-step explanation:

Consider the provided set {2,3,4,6,8,9,10,12}

Let the set is A.

A={(2 \prec 4), (2 \prec 6), (2 \prec 8), (2 \prec 10), (2 \prec 12), (3 \prec 6), (3 \prec 9), (4 \prec 8), (4 \prec 12), (6 \prec 12)}

Hence the required Hasse diagram is shown in figure 1:

In the Hasse diagram 2 and 3 are on the same level as they are not related.

The next numbers are 4, 6, 9, and 10. 4, 6 and 10 are divisible by both 2. 6 and 9 are divisible by 3. Then 8 and 12 are divisible by 4 also 12 is divisible by 6.

Hence, the required diagram of the partial order of the set {2,3,4,6,8,9,10,12} is shown in figure 1.

Ephraim took a friend for a birthday dinner. The total bill for dinner was $30.29 (including tax and a tip). If Ephraim paid a 2
notka56 [123]

Answer:

x= 30.29 (1-0.223) = 23.54

Ephraim paid a 22.3% tip, what was his bill before adding the tip?

23.54

Step-by-step explanation:

For this case we assume the following notation:

T= 30.29 represent the total paid for the dinner

x represent the amount before adding the tip

f =0.223 represent the fraction of the total amount destined to the tip

Based on this we can create the following relationship between T and x:

T = f*T + (1-f)T = f*T + x

And we can solve for x from the previous equation like this:

x = T - f*T

Taking T common factor we got:

x = T (1-f)

And if we replace we got:

x= 30.29 (1-0.223) = 23.54

And the amount destined to the tip would be fT = 0.223*30.29=6.75

And if we add the two values we see that:

23.54+6.75 = 30.29 representing the total cost.

So then the correct answer for the question:

Ephraim paid a 22.3% tip, what was his bill before adding the tip?

23.54

A right triangular prism is shown. Find (A) the total surface area and (B) the volume. You must show formulas and your work.
enyata [817]
Hello!

We are going to use the rectangular prism of the image as a guide:

First of all, the AC segment is calculated using the Pythagoras' theorem:

AC= \sqrt{ AB^{2}+ BC^{2} } =\sqrt{ 10^{2}+ 8^{2} }=12,81 m

(A) The surface area of a prism is the sum of the surface areas of each face.

For the 2 triangles  ABC and DEF

A=2*(1/2*b*h)=2*(1/2*8m*10m)=80m

For the ABEF Rectangle

A=w*l=10,77m*10m=107,7m^{2}

For the ACDE Rectangle

A=w*l=10,77m*12,81m=137,96 m^{2}

For the BCDF Rectangle

A=w*l=10,77m*8m=86,16 m^{2}

To finish you need to sum up the areas of each face:

SA=2A_{ABC}+ A_{ABEF}+A_{ACDE}+A_{BCDF}= \\ 80 m^{2} +107,7m^{2} +137,96m^{2} +86,16m^{2} =411,82m^{2}

(B) The volume of a prism is the product of the area of its base and the height of the prism. In this case, the base is a triangle so the formula and the calculations for the volume are as follows

V= \frac{1}{2} *w*h*l= \frac{1}{2}* 8m*10m*10,77m=430,8m^{3}
