During the American war of 1812 between the United States and the British. There was a Native American group led by a certain Tecumseh.

Tecumseh fought in support of Great Britain. However, he was later defeated and killed in the battle by William Henry Harrison.

His defeats and eventually death occurred on October 5th, 1813, at the Battle of the Thames, north of Lake Erie
