Patriots, also known as Revolutionaries, Continentals, Rebels, or American Whigs, were the colonists of the Thirteen Colonies who rejected British rule during the American Revolution, and declared the United States of America an independent nation in July 1776.
The natives were introduced to goods from the old world but mostly to diseases. The Europeans didn't even know that the germs that they carried on them were deadly for locals because the locals didn't develop an immunity against them so this caused many diseases in the new world.

Tertiary sources are those used to organize and locate secondary and primary sources.<span>Indexes – provide citations that fully identify a work with information such as author, titles of a book, artile, and/or journal, publisher and publication date, volume and issue number and page numbers.Abstracts – summarize the primary or secondary sources,<span>Databases – are online indexes that usually include abstracts for each primary or secondary resource, and may also include a digital copy of the resource.
