the Patriot Act was passed right after the terror attacks in 2001.the Patriot Act gave powers to law enforcement and other agencies to fight terrorists that were in the United States it was signed into law by President George W Bush on October 26th 2001.foreigners who were thought to be involved in Terrorist activities could be held of the 7 days before being charged with a crime
The Albany Plan of Union of Benjamin Franklin was unacceptable to the colonies because it will give the colonists' powers to one central authority thus giving more power on the hands of the colonies rather than Great Britain. It was rejected because it will make the colonies more powerful in managing the thirteen states rather than the British and it is also rejected because the British wants the colonies to focus on the upcoming military campaign.
