World War I marks one of the greatest jumps in warfare in human history.

The reason for this is that World War I was the first world war after the industrial revolution really hit its stride. So, advances in technology were able to be translated into the battlefield causing a massive loss of life at the hands of chemical weapons, aircraft, tanks, and more.

The colonists wanted to go west to settle in the land Britain got from France. However, the Native Americans were threatening violence. Thus, the British passed the Proclamation of 1763 that prevented the colonists from settling this land
