Answer:

The Cold War affected the United States in various ways. One example of how it affected it is in the politics at home. The Cold War caused a lot of distrust between the United States and the Soviet Union. This was due to the fact that the communist belief in the Soviet Union was believed to be a dangerous plague that was quickly spreading. Apart from politics, there were also covert operations abroad. One example of this is the Bay of Pigs invasion when the Cuban exiles landed in Cuba and many Soviet Union missiles were spotted in Cuba. Lastly, there were also new alliances like NATO and the UN. These alliances helped countries prevent a third world war by protecting each other and helping each other.

2: Covert operations abroad, such as the Bay of Pigs invasion and covert support to countries at war with the Soviet Union, such as Afghanistan.

3: New alliances, such as NATO were put in place to prevent a third world war.

Why did Native Americans prove to be a poor source of slave labor? C 1.3
exis [7]

Answer:

here is what I found

Explanation:

Tribal territories and the slave trade ranged over present-day borders. Some Native American tribes held war captives as slaves prior to and during European colonization. Some Native Americans were captured and sold by others into slavery to Europeans, while others were captured and sold by Europeans themselves. In the late 18th and 19th centuries, a small number of tribes adopted the practice of holding slaves as chattel property, holding increasing numbers of African-American slaves.

European influence greatly changed slavery used by Native Americans, as pre-contact forms of slavery were generally distinct from the form of chattel slavery developed by Europeans in North America during the colonial period. As they raided other tribes to capture slaves for sales to Europeans, they fell into destructive wars among themselves, and against Europeans.
