84 times 0.24 area model
CaHeK987 [17]
I'm not sure if I get what you mean, because I don't think I remeber what an area model is. But if it literally means making a model to describe the area, you could draw a square and put 84 on the length or the width and the o.24 on the other. Show that length times width = area. And then multiply. But if I am right, that's not what you are looking for, huh?

Solve for x. −18 = −2/3 x
vredina [299]

Answer:

x = 27

Step-by-step explanation:

To isolate x, we can multiply it by the reciprocal of the fraction (-3/2). We do the same to the -18.

Through cross-multiplication, -18/1 x -3/2 simplifies into -9/1 x -3/1 (because 2 goes into 2 once and 2 goes into -18 -9 times).

-9 x -3 = 27; therefore, x = 27

Are the associative properties true for all integers
Ymorist [56]
Associative property works in addition and multiplication.
Associative property in Addition: (a + b)+ c = a + (b + c)
Associative property in Multiplication: (a x b) x c = a x (b x c)
Associative property in Subtraction: (a - b) - c is not equal to a - (b - c)
Associative property in Division: (a divided by b) divided by c is not equal to a divided by (b divided by c).
Thus, associative property is not true for all integers.
