Point A is located at negative 5 over 8 and point B is located at negative 2 over 8 . What is the distance between points A and

B? (1 point)
negative 5 over 8 minus negative 2 over 8 = negative 3 over 8 ; therefore, the distance from A to B is absolute value of negative 3 over 8 equals 3 over 8 units

negative 5 over 8 minus negative 2 over 8 = negative 3 over 8 ; therefore, the distance from A to B is absolute value of negative 3 over 8 equals negative 3 over 8 units

negative 5 over 8 plus negative 2 over 8 = negative 7 over 8 ; therefore, the distance from A to B is absolute value of negative 7 over 8 equals 7 over 8 units

negative 5 over 8 plus negative 2 over 8 = negative 7 over 8 ; therefore, the distance from A to B is absolute value of negative 7 over 8 equals negative 7 over 8 units

What is the surface area of the right trapezoidal prism? To receive credit, you must show the work used to arrive at a final ans
julia-pushkina [17]

Answer:

210 cm²

Step-by-step explanation:

The net of the right trapezoidal prism consists of 2 trapezoid base and four rectangles.

Surface area of the trapezoidal prism = 2(area of trapezoid base) + area of the 4 rectangles

✔️Area of the 2 trapezoid bases:

Area = 2(½(a + b)×h)

Where,

a = 7 cm

b = 11 cm

h = 3 cm

Plug in the values

Area = 2(½(7 + 11)×3)

= (18 × 3)

Area of the 2 trapezoid bases = 54 cm²

✔️Area of Rectangle 1:

Length = 6 cm

Width = 3 cm

Area = 6 × 3 = 18 cm²

✔️Area of Rectangle 2:

Length = 7 cm

Width = 6 cm

Area = 7 × 6 = 42 cm²

✔️Area of Rectangle 3:

Length = 6 cm

Width = 5 cm

Area = 6 × 5 = 30 cm²

✔️Area of Rectangle 4:

Length = 11 cm

Width = 6 cm

Area = 11 × 6 = 66 cm²

✅Surface area of the trapezoidal prism = 54 + 18 + 42 + 30 + 66 = 210 cm²

How do you do this problem?? I'm very confused
Mamont248 [21]
You have to multiply by the complex conjugate so that you can clear the radical from the denominator. Once you do the multiplication simplify the radical. There's still a common factor in -54, -18, & 75 so divide all those by 3.

(3a) You spend $72 on tapes and CDs. Each tape costs $8 and each CD costs $12.
Makovka662 [10]

Answer:

3a. 8t + 12c = 72

3b. t + c = 7

Step-by-step explanation:

number of tapes is t

number of Cds is c

so 8t + 12c = 72

and t + c = 7

so t = 7 - c

replace t = 7 - c in to the first equation

8(7 - c) + 12c = 72

56 - 8c + 12c = 72

4c = 72 - 56 = 16

c = 4

if c = 4, then t = 7 - c = 7 - 4 = 3

SOVA2 [1]

Answer:

$421.30

Yearly Componded Interest

$250 * 19% = $47.50 = $297.50 <-- Year One Balance

$297.50 * 19% = $56.53 = $354.03 <-- Year Two Balance

$354.03 * 19% = $67.27 = $421.30 <-- Year Three Balance
