Answer:

Critical Listener

Explanation:

Tips to Help You Become a Better Critical Listener

Ask questions to help get more information and increase your critical awareness when you get answers like “Because that’s the way things are,” “It’s always been like that,” “I don’t know; I just don’t like it,” “Everyone believes that,” or “It’s just natural/normal.” These are not really answers that are useful in your critical evaluation and may be an indication that speakers don’t really know why they reached the conclusion they did or that they reached it without much critical thinking on their part.

Be especially critical of speakers who set up “either/or” options, because they artificially limit an issue or situation to two options when there are always more. Also be aware of people who overgeneralize, especially when those generalizations are based on stereotypical or prejudiced views. For example, the world is not just Republican or Democrat, male or female, pro-life or pro-choice, or Christian or atheist.

What human institution or human weakness is satirized in this piece?
marin [14]

The cartoon satirizes how humans tend to criticize others' problems more than their own. This is done through the device of humor known as irony.

How can we come to this conclusion?

 • The artist shows a bird that was annoyed by the creaking of a door.
 • The artist shows that the bird has chicks that make more noise than the creaking door, but he ignores it.
 • The bird does not control the chicks but wants the owner of the fence to control the noise it makes

The artist uses irony to show a different conclusion from what the audience is expecting. This is because, on the one hand, the public expects the bird to control its extremely noisy chicks. However, the bird leaves its chicks making noise and starts complaining about the noise of the neighbor's fence door.

It is important to emphasize that irony is the device that promotes unpredictability, showing elements different from what would be obvious.

1984 Book: Chapter 4:

What happens when all the corrections are made to a document?
hjlf

When all the corrections are made to a document, the original one is "vaporized" to ensure the "truth". This means that "corrections" or "rectification" of details were made, to ensure the message or the reality they wanted to show. These messages include political propaganda, or manipulation of truth.
