Miep was one employed by Mr. Frank and helped them in hiding. As a child she was sent to live in the Netherlands and she was a friend to Anne. When all the occupants of the attic were arrested, only Meip was not arrested and she found the diary of Anne.
Mr. Kraler helped the Franks to operate the secret annex from their hiding place. He provided moral support to the family.
He was also arrested by the police and somehow he managed to escape and moved to Canada.
