Another way is that the teachers are a little more flexible and can extend the deadline for that students so that they can complete it. The teacher can do some of the problems in class and that gives the students a template on how to solve the other problems on the assignment. This would work more with math and science based classes.

Which two details about sequoia trees are correct?
Alex17521 [72]

Answer:

A) They are some of the oldest living things on the planet.

B) They are a type of redwood tree.

Explanation:

The giant sequoia is one of the three species of redwoods. Redwoods belong to coniferous trees, which means that they have needle-like leaves that do not turn red, yellow, and orange in the fall nor fall off. Some of these trees are the oldest living beings on the planet (one of them is over 3500 years old). Despite the size of the tree (the tallest one is 311 feet tall), its roots do not reach deep, only 12 to 14 feet. The climate the giant sequoia is usually found in is humid, with dry summers and snowy winters.

Based on these facts, we can conclude that only statements A and B are correct.

What is the theme of the story "The Witched and the<br> Beautiful”?
saul85 [17]

Answer:

Death and loss. Death is a clear theme in Dahl's The Witches, but the concept of loss manifests in many smaller ways, developing the theme throughout the book. The book opens with the boy's parents dying in a car accident in Norway, leaving him unscathed, orphaned, and in the care of his grandmother.
