PLEASE HELP!!! Read this excerpt from a speech that British Prime Minister Winston Churchill made shortly after Japan bombed Pea

rl Harbor. Which part shows Winston Churchill's feelings about the war?
This is a strange Christmas Eve. Almost the whole world is locked in deadly struggle, and, with the most terrible weapons which science can devise, the nations advance upon each other. III would it be for us this Christmastide if we were not sure that no greed for the land or wealth of any other people, no vulgar ambition, no morbid lust for material gain at the expense of others, had led us to the field. Here, in the midst of war, raging and roaring over all the lands and seas, creeping nearer to our hearts and homes, here, amid all the tumult, we have tonight the peace of the spirit in each cottage home and in every generous heart. Therefore we may caat aside for this night at least the cares and dancers which beset us, and make for the children an evening of happiness in a world of storm.

A. This is a strange Christmas Eve.

B. no greed for the land or wealth of any other people, no vulgar ambition, no morbid lust for material gain at the expense of others,

C. raging and roaring over all the lands and seas, creeping nearer to our hearts and homes, here, amid all the tumult

What are both lincoln's gettysburg address and king's noble prize acceptance speech asking of their audiance
patriot [66]

Answer:

Both speeches ask people not to give up fighting for what they believe.

Explanation:

Lincoln's speech at Gettysburg and Martin Luther King's speech on winning the Nobel Prize are very impressive speeches and one of the most important ones ever recited, due to the situations they addressed. Lincoln's speech referred to the end of the American civil war and how the victory for the union of the country was important, but this victory was only possible because people did not give up defending what they believed in, which was the union of the country and the care with the territory.

King, on the other hand, reinforced the fight for civil rights in his speech, in addition to highlighting other struggles that have been established around the world and have promoted improvements to social groups that have not given up on conquering and defending what they believe.

5. One central idea of this text is that juries ensure that "no
balandron [24]

Hello. You did not present the text to which this question refers, which makes it impossible for it to be answered. However, I will try to help you in the best possible way.

It is only possible to know how the author developed the central idea of the text, after a reading of the text has been done. However, we can consider that:

If this is a fictional text, that is, a story invented by the author that did not happen in real life. The author developed the central idea by creating situations where the law was prevailed no matter what happened and was applied to anyone, even if that application seemed unfair.

If this is a non-fictional text, that is, a text that presents facts from real life, the author developed the central idea, presenting evidence that the law should stand out in any situation. Thus, the author may have presented real examples, about times when the law was applied without regard to the circumstances.
