A sign language is a type of language in which people use their hands, faces, and bodies to communicate. While ASL is the main s

ign language used by deaf communities in the United States and parts of Canada, its use is not limited to that population. In fact, ASL is a valuable language for many hearing people to learn. One way learning American Sign Language is invaluable is because it makes communication possible for many different people. For instance, some people who can hear but cannot speak, or have difficulty speaking, find ASL very useful. And many hearing people who have friends or family members who are hearing impaired often learn ASL to better understand or be understood by their loved ones It's also uplifting to learn American Sign Language because it is a very rich, complex language. The shape, placement, and motion of the hands, as well as facial expressions and body movements all play an important part. They give the language beauty.
What is a reason that supports the main point of the second paragraph? select the question mark and choose the correct answer.

Hey there!

The answer would be "ASL is useful for people who can hear but cannot speak".

This is because that is the main point of the paragraph, all the other options are supporting details or examples.

Have a super awesome day! :)

Answer:

Asl is useful for people who can hear but not speak.

Explanation:

Basically mute people obviously are not able to speak with their mouth so they would have to use another way. Instead of having to write mute people can learn sign language. Once they get the hang of it, it is faster than writing. It wont use as much energy either.

What indications do you have that Teiresias is truly a prophet? What do you think the signs he has interpreted mean?
Anarel [89]

Answer:

He is a prophet, and he gives us several signs of his power even before he tells us his prophecy. One of the reasons why we know that he is indeed a prophet is from the interpretations that he makes of signs. The signs tell him that the gods do not approve of Creon's behaviour.
