Je vis dans un appartement à Paris.

Il est situé dans le quartier du Marais dans la zone historique de Paris.

Les immeubles sont étroits, donc il n'y a pas d'ascenseurs.

L'appartement est au cinquième et sixième étage; c'est un petit dupleix. <em>(flat on two levels)</em>

Au dernier étage, il y a deux chambres : une pour moi et une pour mes parents et une salle de bain avec une baignoire.

La salle de bain n'est pas très grande, mais les toilettes <em>(W.C. = bathrooms) </em>sont indépendantes.

Au cinquième étage, en-dessous, il y a une petite cuisine, et le salon.

C'est un peu petit, mais l'avantage est que nous sommes en plein centre de Paris, avec les commerçants d'alimentation, les boutiques et les cinémas. Nous n'avons pas besoin de prendre le métro pour faire des courses, tout est en bas de chez nous. C'est vraiment agréable de marcher pour pouvoir aller au cinéma, faire des achats, regarder les boutiques. Il y a aussi beaucoup de musées comme le musée Picasso, ou des expositions au Centre Pompidou, par exemple


Il y a deux ans, j'habitais dans une maison beaucoup plus grande. Il y avait quatre chambres, une grande salle de bain, et deux toilettes séparées.

Il y avait un double séjour, une grande cuisine et une salle à manger. Il y avait aussi un jardin.

Mais cette maison était à la campagne, et pour faire les courses, il fallait prendre la voiture. Je ne pouvais pas aller au cinéma avec des amis car il n'y avait pas beaucoup de bus.

J'ai aimé vivre dans cette maison quand j'étais un enfant, car je pouvais jouer au foot avec mes copains.


Maintenant, je préfère vivre à Paris car c'est plus facile de me déplacer seul. J'ai une trottinette électrique et je peux aller partout.
