Answer:

$418,790

Explanation:

Computation for the avoidable interest for Teal Company using the weighted-average interest rate for interest capitalization purposes

First step is to calculate the Expenditure for the year

Expenditure for the year

Mar-01 $3,420,000*10/12=$2,850,000

Jun-01 $2,280,000 *7 12=$1,064,000

Dec-31 $5,700,000*0/ 12=$ -

Total $ 11,400,000 $3,914,000

Second step is to compute the Weighted Average rate of all debt

Weighted Average rate of all debt:-

$3,800,000*12%=$456,000

$6,650,000*11%=$731,500

Total $10,450,000 $1,187,500

Weighted Average rate of all debt=($1,187,500 / $10,450,000)

Weighted Average rate of all debt = 11.36%

Now let compute the avoidable interest

AVOIDABLE INTEREST

$3,914,000

Less:$1,900,000*10%=$190,000

Balance$ 2,014,000*11.36% =$228,790

($3,914,000-$1,900,000=$ 2,014,000)

Avoidable Interest =$418,790

($190,000+$228,790)

Therefore the avoidable interest for Teal Company using the weighted-average interest rate for interest capitalization purposes will be $418,790

Some economists believe that permanently lower marginal income tax rates __________ the incentive to work and thus shift the ___
gtnhenbr [62]

Answer:

The answer is "increase; LRAS curve to the right".

Explanation:

The curve LRAS represents the flow between all the level of wages and economic GDP supplied because all prices are fully flexible, also with nominal salaries; its cost may change all along LRAS, however, the output cannot, as it represents the complete output of workers, that's why the several economists say that lower marginal rate consistently increases the motivation to work, shifting the LRAS curve to the left.

People are unlikely to buy Big Macs in the places where they are relatively cheap (according to purchasing power parity) and sel
sveticcg [70]

Answer: In the long run, prices will be the same.

Explanation: Purchasing power parity (PPP) is a theory that means that in the long run, exchange rates between countries would be the same and similar goods will cost the same amount in both countries. Purchasing Power Parity shows that there should be no opportunities where the differences in price between different countries can lead to profit. The gross domestic product between countries is compared by using the purchasing power parity.

Purchasing power parity is based on the law of one price which means that the price of all identical goods should be the same. Hence, it us unlikely that people buy Big Macs in countries where they're cheaper and sell at countries where there price is higher.

Hope this helps.

Answer:

1) adverse selection will lead those who are more reckless to purchase the warranty

2) moral hazard will lead those who purchase to be more reckless

Adverse selection might be a factor if more people bought the goods that were at a more higher risk to abuse the product compared to the customer who is at low risk to misuse the product. Change in behavior called moral hazard could happen after the customer buys the insurance. This moral hazard could happen if the customers who buys the insurance tend to be careless in using the product.
