The following picture shows what Jody observes when she uses a lens to look at a stamp.
Sedbober [7]
When the light bounces off an object and travels to your eyes those light rays travel parallel to each other. When they pass through a magnifying glass, the Convex lens finds the parallel rays so that they converge and create a virtual image on your eyes retinas. The virtual image on your retinas appear larger than the real object due to principles of Geometry. Despite the magnifying glass, your eyes trace the light rays back in parallel lines to the virtual image. Since the virtual image is farther from your eyes than the object is, the object appears bigger.

How can carbon dioxide be removed from the atmosphere
stepan [7]

Answer:

Forests, Farms, Bio-energy with Carbon Capture and Storage (BECCS), Direct Air Capture, Seawater Capture, and Enhanced Weathering.

Explanation:

I got this information from https://www.wri.org/blog/2018/09/6-ways-remove-carbon-pollution-sky Please use to see explanations on how each of these options help remove carbon dioxide. Hope this helps!

If this is an assignment, you might want to stick to just forests and farms as they are ones that are more commonly given as student answers and will not seem as if you looked them up.

Forests are because there are trees, which naturally remove CO2. Farms are because soils naturally store carbon.

Again, please use this link for further research. This is where I got the info and hope it is helpful!
