If the length of one side of the cube 4 units then the area of one its face is 4 × 4 = 16 square units. From the net, we can see that there are six equal faces and so we get the total surface area is 6 × 16 = 96 square units.

Answer:

See below

Step-by-step explanation:

Introduction:-

Nets are a 2-dimensional representation of a 3-dimensional shape.

For example - Imagine a cubical cardboard box , when we open all the sides of the box and lay it on a 2D surface it looks like ( See attachment 1 ) The first 3D figure is a cube and the second figure is of its net .

To find the surface area of a net :-

Take example of a cube . When we open the sides and lay it on the 2D surface it looks like something as shown in attachment . We can see that it consists of 6 squares of same dimensions . If we take each side of the square to be "a" , then the area of one Square will be ,

 • Area = l × b
 • Area = a × a
 • Area = a²

Therefore area of 6 squares ,

 • Area = 6 × a²
 • Area = 6a²

Similarly , if we take a cuboidal box / rectangular prism , the area of its net will be

 • Area = 2( lb + bh + hl)

where l , b and h are the length, breadth and height of the cuboid .

Hope it helps !

Step 1: put the numbers in order form least to greatest
25,40,42,42,43,43,52,60,60,65
step 2: find the median
step 3: place parentheses around the numbers from above and below the median
(25,40,42,42,)43,43,(52,60,60,65)
step 4: find the median from the below parentheses and from the parentheses above
bellow = 41 bc 40 and 42 cant be the median so between those two is 41
above = 60
step 5: subtract below and above medians
60 - 41 = 19
so 19 is your answer

There is a pair of parallel sides in the following shape.
what is the area of the shape? units^2
den301095 [7]

Answer:

A = 15 units²

Step-by-step explanation:

The figure has 1 pair of parallel sides and is therefore a trapezium.

The area (A) of a trapezium is calculated as

A = \frac{1}{2} h (b₁ + b₂ )

where h is the perpendicular height between bases and b₁, b₂ are bases

here h = 3, b₁ = 3 , b₂ = 7 , then

A = \frac{1}{2} × 3 × (3 + 7) = 1.5 × 10 = 15 units²
