Can you think of any benefit to using an oil dispersant in the real world? If so, what?
podryga [215]

Explanation:

1. Using oil dispersants has the following benefit -

 • Helps in dispersing the oil over a large surface rather than being spilled onto a smaller area, hence effectively reducing the oil concentration from any particular surface.

2. Negative consequences of using a dispersant is -

 • The negative consequences of using a dispersant is that, while dispersion of oil, dispersants tends to adversely effect the organisms and planktons of a larger area.

climate-change impacts on sagebrush habitat and west Nile virus transmission risk and conservation implications for greater sage-grouse

The expansion of West Nile virus and the loss of sagebrush habitat pose threats to greater sage-grouse over most of their range in North America, but the effects of climate change on these potential stressors in the future have not been considered.

Here, our goal is to estimate how climate change may affect the distribution of climatically appropriate habitats for sagebrush and the risk of West Nile virus transmission in the eastern part of the species' range.

In order to forecast future risks of West Nile virus transmission under plausible climate-change scenarios, we utilized a degree-day model and Maxent to model the current and future habitat that would support two main sagebrush species in the study region.

Answer:

The Holocaust was a devastating event that should have never took Place.

The Germans were easily gullible, which sadly led to millions of innocent Jews losing their lives for something they believe in.

It first started in 1941, and ended 4 years later. It took place in such small time and yet left everlasting results that changed the World forever.

The reason for this genocide was the evil ideology of ' Ethnic Cleansing '.

9 - 11 million Jews have died to this result.

the Evil Man behind this event is named Ad0lf H1tler. He hated Jews for no reasonable answer, and brainwashed the Germans into thinking Jews were all bad. It has been said that He kept Jews with light colored hair ( blonde ) and light colored eyes ( blue ) alive. Nonetheless , a tragedy like this shouldn't have ever happened and should never happen again. ( But if you know about the Muslims in the China Concentration Camps, you would already know it's too late. )

What does this suggest about using the Pratt model to explain difference between the elevations of the continents and ocean basi
Olegator [25]

Pratt's hypothesis of isostasy proposed that topography is produced by crustal blocks with varying densities, that terminate at a uniform depth.

Theories of isostasy

The Pratt hypothesis, developed by John Henry Pratt, an English mathematician, and an Anglican missionary, supposes that Earth's crust has a uniform thickness below sea level with its base everywhere supporting an equal weight per unit area at a depth of compensation.

Pratt model

A model for the lithosphere that accounts for isostatic anomalies by assuming there is a level of compensation that lies at a constant depth everywhere. Below the level of compensation, all rocks have the same density, but above it, density decreases as topographic elevation increases.
