Answer: well by the end of the second world war america had many technological advances as far as in firearms and combat equipment (like making the M1 Garand which was the first standard infantry issued semi-automatic rifle). They also had the best economy in WW2 compared to every country in the war. and lastly america was the only country to have a working atomic bomb by the end of the war.
