-The Major cities were Baghdad, Babylon, and Nippur, the capitol is Babylon.
-Mesopotamians developed glass, the Pythagorean Theorem, and ancient sanitation techniques.
-They created the wheel in approximately 3500 B.C. changing transportation forever.
-The ancient Mesopotamians had hundreds of gods they worshipped.
-Each city had its own god.
-There were different gods for different professions.
-At the age of only 12 girls were considered to be ready to get married.
-It is believed they invented the sailboat.
-Their religion didn't believe in the afterlife.

The colonists has the right to challenge authority because of unfair treatment. This included taxation without representation (tax act, stamp act, tea act etc), the economic restraint (not allowed to trade with anyone but England, could only produce raw materials etc) and the quartering act (being forced to house and provide for soldiers)
