The immigration acts impacted two cultures in the United States, Japanese and German people, they were distrusted by American born citizens and most were sent away to internment camps to be held as prisoners of war, and areas where such camps were not available, these people would be put on house arrest such as my great grandfather who was only allowed to go to work and his home for 4 years from 1941-45

What was a positive outcome of the Crusades?
viktelen [127]
The results of the Crusades. The entire structure of European society changed during the 12th and 13th centuries, and there was a time when this change was attributed largely to the Crusades. Historians now, however, tend to view the Crusades as only one, albeit significant, factor in Europe's development.

How did Kafka’s own life influence the themes he incorporated into "The Metamorphosis"? Your answer should be at least 250 words
joja [24]

Answer:

Kafka's own life influenced the themes he incorporated in The Metamorphosis because he found himself a failure before his father. He found himself failing in a career path he chose while abandoning literature which interested him.

The disappointment he felt in his failure formed his narrative on the Gregor, who lacks respect from the family. He became a bug to them and a total disappointment.

The link between the two lies in their inability to muster strentgh of character and win over their fathers. Both showed total submission to the will of the father, but which they fail to live up to and were emotionally defeated.
