Answer:

a) well we know the hypotenuse and we know that all sides are 90 degrees, and that its an even square, so if we split it into a triangle , we know that the other 2 angles are 45 degrees total, with this we can calculate  the other 2 sides, which round to 10 inches.

b) if we know the sides of the first side, knowing the fact that its a square we know that all sides are even, therefore, all sides are 10 inches, the formula the finding the perimeter is basic:

P=L(2) + W(2)

L being length, W being width and P being perimeter

so we add up all 4 sides, here is the equation:

10 + 10 + 10 + 10 = 10 x 4 = 40

With this, we know that the perimeter is 40 inches total

c) knowing how long the sides are, we can figure out the area through another basic formula:

A=L X W

With A meaning Area

since its a square, we know all the sides are even, so the width and length are both 10...

10 X 10 = 100

Is it possible for two tangents to intersect outside the circle?
natka813 [3]

Answer:

No.

Step-by-step explanation:

If they do intersect, the measurement of the angles they form is a half the difference of the intercepted arcs; both of the intercepted arcs would measure 180 degrees.

Somebody please assist me in answering this math question.
Sphinxa [80]
Firstly look at the options carefully and we will get to know that two answer options are incorrect because 2 of them are representing AT MOST SIGN which we don't need. So in that way Options B and D are eliminated.

So Now we are left with 2 options A and C. Lets figure it out.
We know that Carlos has 5 complete set with 4 individual figures and josh has 3 complete sets with 14 individual figures.
So lets write in the numerical language:-
let us assume that complete sets are X.
ATQ,
5x + 4 ≥ 3x + 14
subtracting 3x from both sides.
5x -3x + 4 ≥ 14
2x + 4 ≥ 14
subtracting 4 from both sides
2x ≥ 14 - 4
2x ≥ 10
dividing both sides by 2
x ≥ 5 Answer
So correct answer option is C
