Mr. Adams pays $36.25 for 12.5 gallons of regular gasoline. So, the price of normal gasoline is ($36.25)/12.5 gal = $2.90/gal

Premium is $0.14 more than that ----> $2.90 + $0.14 = $3.04 for each gallon of premium gas.

How much would he have paid for 12.5 gallons of premium? (12.5 gallons)($3.04/gal) = $38.

hope this helps!! :)

Kruka [31]
<span>The plumber's hourly rate is $43. To come to this answer, I first subtracted the $45 fee from 303. That answer was 258, which I divided by 6, because that was the number of hours the plumber worked. That answer was 43, so his hourly rate is $43.</span>
