A big yellow school bus rumbles up to the curb and with a rusty swoosh, the doors rush open, and There was a bunch of voices, and Farrah and Belle got on the bus and jumped on the steps behind them. They retreated to the last seat. The kids on the bus seemed a little stronger, a little louder and, a little bigger. She plugged her earphones into her phone to drown them out. The bus ride was long and labyrinthine with streets that formed hexagons and circles, spinning them in endless circles.
