Are there any sound devices (alliteration, assonance, onomatopoeia, rhyme, rhythm) in this poem and what is their effect?
PSYCHO15rus [73]
Alliteration (which is the occurrence of the same work/letter one after the other) isn't in this particular poem, while assonance (occurrence of similar sounds in nearby words) exists only rarely. For example, "tucking you in and kissing you", and "<span>listening and laughing and asking</span>" follow the poetic device of assonance. This allows for a strong rhythm to be established. Additionally, the rhythm and flow of the poem achieved by the structure of the poem, which allows for the emotions of yearning and remembrance to be evoked and understood.

EleoNora [17]
The theme prominent is the death of a young man at the height of his strength and his career. Death of a young person is a common theme in poetry and this one is very famous because of the emotions that it awakens in a person. Poe was known for writing poems like this usually including young women who die before becoming old.

What should the conclusion leave readers with?
Effectus [21]
I would agree with you - the conclusion should leave readers with an important thought at the end.
This thought should never be new, or opposing to the previous ideas you had been writing before. It also shouldn't be confusing, but quite conversely - it should explain everything and put everything in place.
