The Mayan is the early Ameican civilization, whose descendants still dwell in the same area of the Yucatán peninsula of Mexico, Guatemala, and Belize, used the slash-and-burn technique. They do this technique of cutting and burning of trees and vegetation to clear land for growing crops in order to provide more land for agriculture.
