That's because, as we know, thousands of Jews were killed by Nazism, leaving many children orphaned and with nowhere to go. In this case, charities with volunteers appeared that tried to help these children. One such institution was Kloster Indersdorf, where volunteers offered shelter, food and psychological and medical support, if necessary. In addition, the volunteers offered company to listen to the terrible experiences that the children had in the concentration camps and how it impacted their lives.
