An airport shuttle runs between terminals every 4 minutes with a fixed capacity of passengers. 250 people were in line as of 9:0

0 am. After the 29th shuttle trip departed, 424 people were in line. If 6 people per minute got in line after 9:00 am, what is the passenger capacity of the shuttle?

174/29 = 6

This means every time the shuttle came to pick people up there would be 6 people they couldn't take. So if the shuttle takes 4 minutes to come back and 6 people were to get in line per minute there would be 24 extra people waiting. So 24-x = 6, x=18
