This excerpt is written mostly in blank verse. Even though some lines rhyme with each other, there is no consistent rhyme pattern or scheme.

While in the desert the little prince tells the pilot, his new friend, of his interactions with other various types of people around his neighboring planets. Enrique and the Pilot both learn about responsibility and what it takes to survive.
