Answer:

Descriptive research is a type of research that studies the participants that take part in the research or a certain situation. Descriptive research does not limit to either of quantitative or qualitative research methodologies, but instead, it uses elements of both, often within the same study. Therefore, a descriptive researcher often uses three major ways to collect and analyse the data. They are observations, case studies and surveys.

now i dont know much about comparisons but im assuming your comparing your own experiment to someone elses to see if you get the same result.

“The main difference between descriptive and experimental research is that descriptive research describes the characteristics of the research subject while the experimental research manipulates the research subject or the variables to come to a conclusion.”

In a soft-bottomed intertidal community, oxygen would be most plentiful for meiofauna in which type of bottom?
Sonbull [250]

Answer:

The options are:

A. Gravel

B. Sand

C. Silt

D. Clay

E. Mud

The answer is A. Gravel

Explanation:

Meiofauna are small benthic invertebrates which live in aquatic habitat. They are suited for both marine and fresh water environments.

Gravel aren’t tightly packed together in large quantities when compared with the other options such as sand, silt, clay, mud. This makes it possible for more aeration and the presence of more oxygen at the soft-bottomed intertidal community.
