It seemed to be a question not so much of giving names to new lands as of finding the proper old names, and the same was true of the things that the new lands contained. Cruising through the Caribbean, enchanted by the beauty and variety of what he saw, Columbus assumed that the strange plants and trees were strange only because he was insufficiently versed in the writings of men who did know them. "I am the saddest man in the world," he wrote, "because I do not recognize them."

Social media can be profitable. In fact, I’ve sold books on Twi.tter.

Social media is great for lead generation. I promote my email list all the time on Insta.gram and Twi.tter.

Social media is fun! I get out my creative side by making Insta.gram Stories, and the Stickers and GIFs are cute.

Free tools exist to help you. In fact, Buffer posts at optimal times. Free graphic design tools help you make appealing graphics.

Cons:

Social media is addictive.

Social media drains time.

Social media can be costly. I keep shopping! Also, if you pay for a boost in content visibility, it’s not free. Tools can be pricey as well.

The Fairness Doctrine of the United States Federal Communications Commission was introduced in 1949. It was a policy which required the broadcast license holders to present controversial issues of public importance. They were also required to do this in such a manner that different and contrasting viewpoints could be fairly reflected.

The reason why it was ceased to be enforced was because the FCC realized that there were many radio and TV stations, which represented all the differing viewpoints on controversial issues.
