Answer: Umm i got this from an an article and made it shorter

Explanation:

After the World War I, with millions washed away, people thought it was the end, but the break of World War II was even more worst than World War I. World War II or also known as the Second World War was fought between 1939 – 1945 in the Europe and Asia.

It was the worst of wars where more than 38 million people died and the most destructive war in the history of mankind. More than 50 nations took part in the war and it did change the world forever.

After the World War I, though the peace treaty was signed, this was the actual cause for another war. Germany was totally devastated from the war and it was then the Nazi Leader Hitler who took over and started his rule. It was the conquering of Europe by Hitler that eventually began the World War II from Europe. His invasion to Poland was the reason. Germany tried to conquer Britain but failed as they could not beat the Britain Royal Air force.

This was the largest armed battle in the history with the usage of deadly weapons, warplanes, battleships and first usage of nuclear bombs which took place. There was killing of innocent people in massive scale. By 1939, Germans troops invaded Poland and by 1941 the US also joined the war thereby taking the leadership too. By 1945, Germany surrendered thereby ending the war in Europe.

However the war in the Pacific did not end, until the US dropped two atomic bombs in Japan which was the most devastating action in history and by 1945 Japan also surrendered.

The after effects of this World War II is still being suffered by the people of Japan, even after decades has passed by. The World War II was one among the most destructive wars in the history of the world.

World War 1:
In WW1 Germany, Hungary, Bulgaria, Austria and the Ottoman Empire (these were the central powers) fought agains Russia, Italy, France, Great Britain, Japan, Romania and the United States (these were the allied Powers). This war is also known as the Great War which started in 1914 after the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand. On July 28, 1914 Austria-Hungary declares war on Serbia which started the WW1. The four main causes were imperialism, alliances, nationalism and militarism. This war lasted 4 years where 21 million people died and 21 million where injured. It ended on 11 November 1918 and on June 28, 1919 Germany and the Allied signed the Treaty of Versailles, which formally ended WW1.

World War 2:
In WW2 Germany, Italy and Japan (Axis Power) fought against France Great Britain, the Soviet union, the United States and China (Allied Powers). Hitler attacked Poland on September 1, 1939 (this was an attack that he planned for months). France and Great Britain had guaranteed military support if Poland was attacked by Germany so two days later after Hitler’s strike they declared war. The main causes of it were impact of the Treaty of Versailles following WWI, the worldwide economic depression and the failure of peace efforts. During WW2 Nazy Germany killed around 6 million European Jews (Hitler’s discrimination) - this event is knows as the Holocaust. On 2 September 1945 the USS Missouri in Tokyo Bay, Japan formally surrenders to the Allies, bringing an end to World War II.

Hope this helps. I am just starting year 11 but I picked Geography as GCSE subject so I can’t write that much detail about it Apologies if there are any mistakes - that’s all I can recall from year 9

Write a paragraph discussing how the war in Europe affected the relationship between Congress and the president.
siniylev [52]

Through the many wars and peace congresses of the 18th century, European diplomacy strove to maintain a balance between five great powers: Britain, France, Austria, Russia, and Prussia. At the century’s end, however, the French Revolution, France’s efforts to export it, and the attempts of Napoleon I to conquer Europe first unbalanced and then overthrew the continent’s state system. After Napoleon’s defeat, the Congress of Vienna was convened in 1814–15 to set new boundaries, re-create the balance of power, and guard against future French hegemony. It also dealt with international problems internationally, taking up issues such as rivers, the slave trade, and the rules of diplomacy. The Final Act of Vienna of 1815, as amended at the Congress of Aix-la-Chapelle (Aachen) in 1818, established four classes of heads of diplomatic missions—precedence within each class being determined by the date of presentation of credentials—and a system for signing treaties in French alphabetical order by country name. Thus ended the battles over precedence. Unwritten rules also were established. At Vienna, for example, a distinction was made between great powers and “powers with limited interests.” Only great powers exchanged ambassadors. Until 1893 the United States had no ambassadors; like those of other lesser states, its envoys were only ministers.
