Answer:

all of them are REAL numbers

1. is also RATIONAL

2. is also IRRATIONAL

3. is also IRRATIONAL

4. is also NATURAL, WHOLE, INTEGER and RATIONAL

5. is also INTEGER and RATIONAL

6. incorrect, because integer is just the whole numbers extended by their additive counterparts (the negative natural numbers). in other words, their absolute values are whole numbers. 5.5 as well as -5.5 are not fitting that criteria.

7. incorrect, because this pattern does not fit the definition of a radical number, where the number eventually begins to repeat the same finite sequence of digits over and over. in this example the pattern is not based on a finite sequence of digits.

kirill [66]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

since they are both equal to 'y', you can eliminate the y but letting the value of y equal to each other

if they are not both equal to 'y', then solve the equation by putting y itself on 1 side

1. sub y=-2x into 2nd equation

-2x = 3x + 25

then solve for x

-5x = 25

x= -5

2.

y-2 =12x

y = 12x +2

(sub this equation into y=x+2)

12x + 2 = x + 2

11x = 4

x = 4/11

hope this makes sense, please let me know if it doesn't and i'll help out some more

i'm not that great at explaining, sorry

Describe how you would use the distributive property to simplify {39×5}
GuDViN [60]
Have you learnt about prime numbers yet? 5 is a prime number so you can't break it up into smaller numbers other than obviously 5*1. 39 is not a prime number. At first glance you should be able to tell that its a multiple of 3 right?
39=3*13

Now you have smaller numbers.

3*13*5=13*15.

I guess that's what the answer is.
