The essential to the success of any government is continuity and stability. The success of a government will also depend on the needs of its people.
EXPLANATION
There are many things government should do in order to gain success. One of them is correcting past deficiencies. The government also must be able to manage all of its resources. Each country certainly has different resources. For example, there are some countries which are superior in natural resources but lack of human resources, while the others are rich in human resources but lack in natural resources. There are also countries that can produce a superior human resource without having sufficient natural resources. So, the government is demanded to be able to optimize what they have.
Talking about natural resources and human resources will be related to socio-economic development. Socio-economic development is an ongoing process, always dynamic and prone to conflict. Often clashed with ideological issues such as; between socialist and capitalist systems.
Socialist and Capitalist certainly have their weaknesses and strengths, because each ideology tends to overdo a method (there is no balance). Upholding capital too much will also impact on social inequalities while being too social will make citizens less creative and even tend to be lazy.
Based on the explanation above, it can be concluded that the essence of a successful government is a government whose policies are capable of being balanced (continuity and stability-oriented).
