For a lot of people home is where they grew up, but sometimes “home” feels more like a prison. It’s important to recognize thst even in a loving home sometimes your house still isn’t home. I personally will be leaving my house after I graduate high school, but that is not because I dislike my family. I wish to explore the world on my own, the finally live for the first time. DDT finally went for sale locally on October 1945 but it was meant for the use as an agricultural and household pesticide. The problems DDT has caused are not a joke it has killed many species/ animal from around the world there are cases of people getting diseases and defects from being minor exposed to DDT. Several people have gotten breast cancer and many other things, people who have been exposed to DDT are more likely to have lymphoma, leukemia, and pancreatic cancer. Many animals and organisms have been impacted like the Bald eagle, Peregrine falcon, Osprey, crayfish, fish, shrimp, and many other animals and organism. For the bird species, it said that many birds had brain lesions or liver abnormalities which were fatal. Populations of bald eagles and other birds crashed when DDT thinned their eggs, killing their embryos. The only thing they did to stop all of this mayhem was to simply ban the use of DDT in the United States this helped tremendously and brought down the death rate of birds.
