Even in a time where most people would turn their backs on people in need and only think about themselves. Not only that, but Anne and her famil remained good and loving people which seems almost impossible given the circumstances they were living in. On two very different sides of the spectrum, a person can be truly evil and vile. On the other end, a person can be good and loving and generous.
