(I'm assuming these sentences are all in past context)

1. He failed because he did not listen to the advice of his teacher.

(Adding did will maintain the past tense of the sentence)

2. He learnt that he was ill but could not go to see him.

(Changing be to was maintains the past tense. Could is past tense as can is present tense)

3. He said that he came to our house to discuss the matter.

(Came is past tense as come is present tense)

Explanation:

Beowulf is an epic anglo-Saxon poem that tells the story of the hero Beowulf, a warrior and honorable prince who has the greatest strength ever seen in a man, his strength is superhuman which allows him to participate in countless battles without suffering any damage, as well as causing a lot of dread in your enemies.

Because of all this power he possesses, he decides to travel and save a population from a showy creature that is the real evil, a terrible being that eats whole men, called Grendel.

Which sentence employs parallel structure correctly? A. The objective of the lesson was to teach cooperation, trust, and being r
Sergio039 [100]

B.On the hike, Mr. Clark tripped over a tree root, fell to the ground, and broke his wrist.

Parallel structure is using the same grammatical structure for a list of items or ideas. In option B, all of the actions in the list are written in simple past tense. They do not include a helping verb or other form. The verbs are all the same structure: tripped, fell, broke.

Option A is not correct. To make it correct parallel structure, "being responsible" should be "responsibility". To correct the parallel structure for Option C, "babysitting" should be "to babysit". To fix option D, add "having" before fierce determination.
