as both triangles are congruent......

AB = PQ

BC = QR

CA = RP

So AB = PA so... 2x + 1 = x + 7

so x = 7 - 1 = 6

now BC = QR so.... 4y + 3 = 2y + 11

so 2y= 8 and y= 4
