Describe how the principle of movement influences a viewer looking at a work of art

Arts

Answer:

Movement in art decides how the viewer will perceive an artwork. It is the path our eyes follow or the pattern our eyes go after when we look at an art work. In art, it's extremely important to keep a viewer’s eyes engrossed in the work, and the way an artist does that is by adding movement. Without any movement, artwork is stagnant and people don't really like looking at art that looks or feel boring to them, no matter how valuable it is. If our eyes see movement happening in an art work, they are more likely to enjoy the art as they are now following a pattern or path to explore the contents of the artwork.

Is this statement true or false? The way artists use the elements of art and principles of design determines their style, but no
Gnesinka [82]
False. Artists use the "elements of art" and "principles of design" because they have studied what colors, and elements make us humans feel a certain way when we look at their work. For instance, if an artist wanted people to portray sadness in his painting, he might use cool (or dark blues, blues, dark greens, greens) in his painting. The human mind has been known to have feelings of sadness when these "cool" tones are being viewed.

Why are there only animals and no human figures on the lod of mosaic ?
Leokris [45]

Answer:

The juxaposition of animal hunting scenes and a marine scene, combined with the lack of human figures on any of the floors, makes the Lod Mosac very unusual. Because the mosaic's imagery has no overt religious content, it cannot be determined whether the owner was a pagan, a Jew, or Christian.

A homorhythmic texture is one in which all of the lines move in the same rhythm.
Andre45 [30]
In Latin, the root word homo (found in words such as homonym, homosexual, etc.) means 'the same.' So, here, a homorhythmic texture refers to something that moves in the same rhythm - homorhythmic means the same rhythm. Thus, this statement is true.
