Answer:

lockdown is being set by the government so that we will be safe from the deadly co vid 19, after all lockdown is good. lockdown have brought a lot of disadvantages such as problems related to works, difficulties due to the family situation, and, personal wellbeing and financial issues. but we get to spend a lot of time with our family, save money that was used for transport issues and most importantly we get to be much more safe from cov id 19. so i am not so sure that whether lockdown is bad or good cause it affects us from both sides but lets take lockdown as a good thing cause we get to be safe from the deadly virus

Why is it remarkable the Gatsby has real books in his library?

The Great Gatsby chapter 3
Verizon [17]

Answer:

Nick Caraway meets the man with the enormous owl-eyed spectacles in Jay Gatsby's library, during one of Jay's parties. Nick and Jordan had politely left their company to find Jay. ... This is the reason why the man with the spectacles is so surprised that the books are actually genuine. He expected them to be fake.

Explanation:

Gatsby's saving grace is that the books and the library are not to show off to everybody - just Daisy. They, like the wealth which has bought them, are merely a means to an end: his dream of winning Daisy back. So the books symbolize Gatsby's vision of himself and his dream but also the fact that they lack true depth.

If the pilgrims were alive today what do you suppose they might think of rock concerts
Lubov Fominskaja [6]

Um, I would say they might be shocked because back then they didn't have anything like Rock Concerts and they didn't really like anything different, surprising, or weird. That's why when they could not understand why someone cooked different they thought it was witch craft and thought that person was a witch and burned them alive or hung them.

In expository writing, a topic sentence is a sentence that summarizes the main idea of a paragraph

The thesis statement is located in the introductory paragraph, almost always at the end of that paragraph. It usually consists of a single sentence. the writer's opinion or claim about that topic; i.e., it provides a specific focus for the reader.

Explain this example of foreshadowing regarding Susan; ¨Never in all the time to come will i ever, ever be as happy as i am righ
alina1380 [7]

It is foreshadowed that Susan is at a zenith, a highpoint in her life. This, however seems to be the last highpoint that she will ever be at, insinuating that the rest of her life was much more depressing and less exciting.
