<u>Plagiarism</u> is when an individual/group of people such as a company or something copies another individual's / group's work (art, information, data etc.) & uses it without asking for copyrights. Plagiarism is a serious issue if caught & in severe cases (like a case with a big company) can also lead to imprisonment.
Plagiarism is the act of representing an individual's or organization's words, thoughts, or ideas as one's own. Examples: Using information (a paraphrase or quotation, in whole or in part) from a source without attempting to give credit to the author of that source.
