Table 8 shows the values of two variables, x and y, obtained from an experiment. Variables x and y are related by the equation y

= a(1-6), where a and b are constants. Jadual 8 menunjukkan nilai-nilai bagi dua pembolehubah, x dan y, yang diperoleh daripada suatu eksperimen. Pembolehubah x dan y dihubungkan oleh persamaan y=a(1-6)", dengan keadaan a dan b ialah pemalar 1 2 3 4 5 2.19 3.61 y 5.50 8.32 12.51 20.42 Table 8 Jadual 8 (a) Based on Table 8, construct a table for the values of log.ny. There are 240 students in Misty's school. This is 5 percent of the total students in the school district. How many students are
Roman55 [17]

Given

There are 240 students in Misty's school.  This is 5 percent of the total students in the school district.

Find out the total number of students are in the school district.

To proof

Let us assume that their are 100 % student are studying in the school district.

As  given in the question 5% of the  the total students in the school district.

240 students in Misty's school this is 5% of the  the total students in the school district.

5% of the  the total students in the school district = 240

For  100 % of the  the  students in the school district

equation becomes

Total\ student\ in\ the\ school\ district = \frac{240}{5}\times100

Solve this

Total\ student\ in\ the\ school\ district = \frac{24000}{5}

Therefore

Total students are in the school district = 4800

Hence proved
