How does the simile "Snapshots like butterflies" most clearly contribute to the
beks73 [17]

Answer: Hello there! I wish that there was a bit more context/info about the photo in question, but believe that your answer is A. If not, it may be C.

Explanation: For Choice A - One thing that snapshots and butterflies share is their swiftness. Images can be taken in the blink of an eye, while our little winged friends can flutter their wings fast as lightning.

My reasoning for Choice C is a bit different and concerns the values of both objects. Snapshots hold precious memories within them, while the beauty of a butterfly is, similarly, cherished by many people, thus creating a tone that's meant to make the reader feel emotional over them both.

Extra reasoning if needed:

Choice B - I didn't feel that this was the right answer because the tone just didn't awestruck to me...? (I think it just would've been better if I had more context or the excerpt of the poem to help me with my decision.)

Choice D - The colorfulness of a butterfly isn't alluded to in this part of the poem.

I apologize for not being able to give a very definite answer, but I hope that this may help you with your assignment/process of elimination somehow!

In your own words, what makes a work of fiction realistic?
harina [27]
For me, to make fiction realistic is to have normal people in the story and have something strange come out of the blue. For example, there are researcher that study UFOs, so maybe have a conflict that has something to do with UFOs. Hope that helps!!!
