Answer:

Time exists because we have new timelines. We have new years. New days to wake up too. Time does not slow down it does not speed up. You will live through it over and over again. Time is eternal and there will always be time. It Has been part of lives ever since this world has first been created. They say time is an illusion but is it really? no Time is everything there may be to much of it to to little of it. time goes by fast and fast. Time will always be there Its also part of our lives like the time you woke up the time you go to school  it has always been there. Time will never fade away it always depends on our lives. Right now in other parts of the worlds their are different times But there are 2 main factors Time is dependent of  Gravity and speed. Time is different on space than in earth. Time is relative

chubhunter [2.5K]

I looked this question up and was able to find two answer options for it:

A. Douglass and Jacobs both wrote important autobiographies about their experience as slaves.

B. Douglass and Jacobs both escaped from slavery in the 1800's.

Answer:

The main idea of the passage is:

A. Douglass and Jacobs both wrote important autobiographies about their experience as slaves.

Explanation:

From the passage, we can safely infer that both Douglass and Jacobs escaped slavery in the 1800's taking into consideration the year they were born. However, that is not the focus of the paragraph. Notice how the author compares Douglass' and Jacobs' lives, focusing especially on the fact that they both wrote autobiographies and became supporters of the antislavery movement. This is the main idea of the passage: that Douglass and Jacobs become authors and that they described their own experience as slaves in their books.
