1, Clockwise is the way hands move on a clock, counter-clockwise is the opposite direction.

The arrow in the picture is pointing in the opposite direction from how a clock moves, so it’s a counter-clockwise rotation.

2. For the number of degrees, you start with the fact that a full circle is 360º. This rotation is a quarter of a full rotation, so it’s 1/4 of 360º.
360º÷4 = 90º

Another way to also look at this is as a clock. The triangle started at 6 o’clock and moved to 3 o’clock. It went back in time (counter clockwise) by 3 hours. Since there are 12 hours on a full clock, the 3 hours is 3/12 or 1/4 of the clock. It’s the same answer, just a different way to look at it.

Question 7: How rates and ratios related? - we don’t do number 6. In my class we’re learning how to write rates as unit rates. I
ycow [4]

Hi, here is the solution.

Ratio: The relationship between the two numbers of the same unit is called the ratio.

Example: The number of boys and girls in your class.

Rate: The rate is the ratio of two measurements that have different units.

Example: Miles per hour, working hours (40 hours per week)

Note: Rate is a special ratio.

Example

Sarah covered the distance of 60 miles in 3 hours. What is the rate per hour?

Rate = 60/3 = 20 miles per hour.

Hope you will understand this.

Thank you :)

wo neighboring homeowners, , 2, simultaneously choose how many hours to spend maintaining a beautiful lawn. The average benefit
Fantom [35]

To calculate the average benefit of hours we must add all the values then divide by the number of values that we have.

What is the average?

Average is a term that refers to a value that represents the mean of a group of values. For example, if my friends and I have a race to run from point A to point B and our times are:

 • 69 seconds.
 • 58 seconds.
 • 45 seconds.
 • 120 seconds.
 • 76 seconds.

The average time of my group of friends would be:

69 + 58 + 45 + 120 + 76 = 368

358 ÷ 73.6 seconds

The average of my group of friends would be 73.6 seconds.

According to the above, to identify the average profit per hour of my neighbors who own their lawns, you must use the same formula to obtain the result.

Note: This question is incomplete because the are some information missing. However I can answer it based on my prior general knowledge.

Reiko started a business selling home medical supplies. She spent $6500 to obtain her merchandise, and it costs her $550 per wee
Vinvika [58]
900x is greater than or equal to 550x+6500. In this equation, I used x to represent the number of weeks, 900x to represent her profits, and 550x+6500 to represent her costs. Then, since 19 is the lowest integer that we can plug into the equation to keep the inequality true, it is our answer, 19 weeks.

Please help D: Given f (x) = 3 x minus 1 and g (x) = 2 x minus 3, for which value of x does g (x) = f (2)?
AfilCa [17]

Answer: D. x = 4

===============================================

Explanation:

First compute f(2)

f(x) = 3x-1

f(2) = 3(2) - 1 ... replace every x with 2; use PEMDAS to simplify

f(2) = 6 - 1

f(2) = 5

When we say g(x) = f(2), we really mean g(x) = 5

g(x) = 2x-3

2x-3 = g(x)

2x-3 = 5 .... plug in g(x) = 5

2x-3+3 = 5+3 ... add 3 to both sides

2x = 8

2x/2 = 8/2 ... dividing both sides by 2

x = 4
