Grims fairytales were based heavily on unhappy endings, and usually violent ones. They were mature, and as such meant for a more mature audience. The violence was used as warnings to problems we face as we age. As well, the sexual adult themes that were found in these stories once again shows that the Grim stories did not have children as their intended audience.
I would say logos because the answer uses logic to show why vegetation could not grow or flourish on these topographic features either on the sheer cliffs, and the bays, coves, sloping hills and side canyons had their native vegetation drowned by the reservoir and the water prevented new vegetation from growing.
