Answer: A staff nurse administers medication and injections in addition to helping the doctor with diagnostic testing. Staff nurses let the patient know what to do after leaving the hospital and prepares them for discharge. Also staff nurses have to ensure that all dietary requirements are followed by the patient. Not only that but they must ensure the patient is in hygienic condition and are required to provide them with sponge baths everyday. The most important part of their jobs is preparing patients for surgical procedures and inform their families about it.
