Y= 1/5x+36/5
Y=mx+b. To find M (slope) all u do is set up: m=y^2-y^1/x^2-x^1 once u find your answer, replace m with the answer u get. To find b all u need to do is use one of the points given already, & set the y point, equaled to the sander you just got for m, multiplied by the x (replace the x) with the x given in the points I chose+b for example: 8=1/5(4)+b then multiply then subtract on both sides to get b alone

In June, Meg runs a race 10 seconds faster than she did in April. Let y represent her finishing time for the race in April. Whic
Marina CMI [18]
Answer: The expression that represents Meg's finishing time in June is "y - 10".

The problem started with Meg running in April. She had a time in April and we called it "y".

Now, Meg ran again in June. In June, she did 10 seconds faster. So it makes since that we need to subtract 10 from her April time, "y". Therefore, the expression is simply "y - 10".

You go to the outlet mall with a friend and buy a jacket for $49.00 and new Vans for $55.00. Sales tax in Texas is 8.25%. How mu
Vlada [557]

Answer:

Amount spent after sales tax = $112.58

Step-by-step explanation:

Given that:

Cost of jacket = $49.00

Cost of new Vans = $55.00

Total spent = 49.00 + 55.00 = $104.00

Sales tax = 8.25%

Amount of sales tax = \frac{8.25}{100}*104

Amount of sales tax = $8.58

Total after sales tax = 104.00 + 8.58 = $112.58

Hence,

Amount spent after sales tax = $112.58
