The reason why Western Europe developed Stronger Economies than Eastern Europe is because of the Berlin Wall. On the West side, It was fine, and normal. But on the East Side, it has Communism Rule, and they had a weaker economy. When the Wall was taken down in 1991, Their economy slowly came back up, but not as big as the Western Sides Economy.
